چکیده

Background: Porcine brucellosis is a contagious and emerging zoonosis but neglected in most of the endemic countries including India. The disease pigs rarely reported due to non-availability diagnostics or major focus on bovine brucellosis. Hence, necessity was felt diagnose porcine by Monoclonal antibody based ELISA, RBPT STATS for detection anti-Brucella antibodies record spatial seroprevalence country. Methods: Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT), Standard tube agglutination test (STAT) Bru Alert monoclonal c-ELISA employed screen 148 sera samples presence Brucella antibody. Result: A total were collected tested, overall prevalence infection pig 43.2% per cent (64/148) C-ELISA followed 40% (60/148) STAT 25% (40/148) study area comparatively high seropositivity found female animals. agreement between two excellent (Kappa = 0.167) also, chisquare indicated an evidence strong diagnostic weapon swine

A Monoclonal–Monoclonal Antibody Based Capture ELISA for Abrin

Abrin, one of the most highly potent toxins in the world, is derived from the plant, Abrus precatorius. Because of its high toxicity, it poses potential bioterror risks. Therefore, a need exists for new reagents and technologies that would be able to rapidly detect abrin contamination as well as lead to new therapeutics. We report here a group of abrin-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that...

Development of an improved competitive ELISA based on a monoclonal antibody against lipopolysaccharide for the detection of bovine brucellosis

BACKGROUND Brucellosis is the most common bacterial zoonosis, and serological tests are routinely used in brucellosis control and eradication programs. In order to improve the accuracy of serological diagnostic method used in bovine brucellosis detection, this study developed an improved competitive ELISA with higher specificity and good sensitivity. RESULTS This study prepared 12 monoclonal ...

ELISA Cut-off Point for the Diagnosis of Human Brucellosis; a Comparison with Serum Agglutination Test

Background: Brucellosis is a world-wide disease, which has a diverse clinical manifestation, and its diagnosis has to be proven by laboratory data. Serum agglutination test (SAT) is the most-widely used test for diagnosing brucellosis. The enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) can also determine specific antibody classes against brucella. It is a sensitive, simple and rapid test, which coul...
